Shefali Bansal will discuss Indian cooking and Indian spices and seasoning. She will bring chick pea curry with rice to the event. Chick peas are a good source of protein and with some added favors of ginger, tomatoes, garlic, herbs and spices it makes a delicious meal.
Shefali is originally from India and learned cooking from her mother and took some cuisine classes. Cooking is her stress reliever and she cooks gourmet meals everyday for her family. She has lived in Richmond, VA for the past 16 years. Professionally, she is a Financial Analyst and a Realtor.
