Introducing:  The Humane Party      Alexandra Bern and Joanne Kong

Alexandra Bern is a social justice and animal liberation activist and environmentalist. These passions led her to the Humane Party as Virginia State Developer and State Developer Coordinator.  The Humane Party is the only political party in the U. S. that calls for abolishing the exploitation and property status of all animals.  Alexandra is a Theatre Performance major at Virginia Commonwealth University and uses these skills in the arts for social change and activism. With art from her heart and compassion in her work, she is devoting her life to changing the world for the better.  VSR member Joanne Kong will begin the presentation with an overview of the challenges faced by advocates for veganism and animal rights.
